Process Mining

UiPath Process Mining

Where RPA starts:
data-driven process analysis.

UiPath Process Mining is a process mining tool seamlessly integrated with the UiPath RPA platform. It analyzes event logs from business systems to reveal bottlenecks, deviations and where automation fits. Because results flow straight into the UiPath Automation Hub pipeline, it accelerates RPA all the way from analysis to identifying candidates to implementation.

What you can do with UiPath Process Mining

  • Automatic process discovery

Generates actual process flows automatically from system event logs, using all the data to reveal unexpected paths, deviations and variants for an accurate picture of how work runs today.

  • Task Mining integration

Combined with Task Mining, which records and analyzes how staff use their PCs, it shows the whole process, including desktop work that never appears in system logs.

  • Conformance checking

Automatically detects gaps between the designed process and actual work, catching skipped steps, compliance violations and improper handling in real time for risk management.

  • Finding automation candidates and ROI

Scores frequency, processing time and how rule-based work is to identify where RPA pays off most, so you can estimate the return before you start automating.

  • Automation Hub integration

Automation candidates found in analysis go straight to the Automation Hub pipeline, giving you one consistent system from collecting ideas to evaluating, prioritizing and managing implementation.

  • Ongoing impact monitoring

Monitors how work changes after RPA in real time, comparing KPIs before and after so you can show and report the impact of automation to management.

Issues

Choosing what to automate by gut feeling, procedures that aren’t standardized, results you can’t prove: sound familiar?

You can’t prove RPA’s impact in numbers, so there is no case for more investment

Without data to compare processing time, effort and error rates before and after, reports to management stay anecdotal, and the next RPA investment decision keeps stalling.

What to automate depends on individual intuition, so priorities can’t be set

Choosing candidates from interviews alone easily misses tasks or overrates them, risking a limited RPA budget on work that pays off little.

Procedures differ by site and person, so deviations and exceptions plague you even after RPA

Automating unstandardized procedures leaves robots prone to stopping on unexpected exceptions, increasing maintenance work, while real standardization keeps getting pushed back.

UiPath Process Mining solves all of these at once.

Benefits

Six reasons to adopt and use UiPath Process Mining with ITSO.

01

End-to-end support from a certified UiPath partner

As a certified UiPath partner, ITSO covers both Process Mining and RPA. The same team handles everything from analysis to automation, so work moves quickly without hand-off gaps.

02

Data foundation and log preparation

We support event log design, data extraction and quality assurance so Process Mining works properly, solving problems like missing data or inconsistent logs.

03

Business analysis × technical implementation

Consultants with business knowledge interpret results and propose what to improve, so the tool leads to real improvement rather than just being installed.

04

Automation Hub design

We specialize in automation pipelines that link Process Mining and Automation Hub, and support you all the way to building company-wide RPA structures and CoE operations.

05

Step-by-step rollout from a small PoC

Start with a PoC analyzing one process and expand as you see results, proving the value of process mining while keeping initial costs down.

06

Support for an ongoing analysis and improvement cycle

Remote monitoring, regular reviews and improvement proposals make sure analysis doesn’t stop after one round, rooting process mining in a culture of continuous improvement.

Flow

ITSO implements UiPath Process Mining in four steps, from analysis all the way to automation.

  1. 1

    Consultation and process scoping

    1–2 weeks

We learn which work you are considering for automation, the systems you use and your current challenges, and set the processes to analyze and the goals.

  2. 2

    Log design and data integration

    2–3 weeks

We design how to extract event logs from business systems and, if needed, set up Task Mining agents so desktop activity logs can be captured too.

  3. 3

    Process analysis and finding candidates

    2–3 weeks

We run process discovery and conformance checking, score frequency and how rule-based tasks are, and identify high-priority automation candidates along with ROI estimates.

  4. 4

    Automation Hub and RPA implementation

    Ongoing

Candidates go into the Automation Hub pipeline and on to implementation in UiPath RPA. Monitoring continues after rollout to uncover the next candidates.

Scene

From driving RPA to internal control, UiPath Process Mining is at work in many settings.

FAQ

  • For companies already running RPA on UiPath, UiPath Process Mining fits best, taking you from analysis to implementation through seamless Automation Hub integration. If you want an enterprise-scale analysis platform across systems, or automated improvement with Action Engine, we recommend Celonis.

  • Task Mining records and analyzes how staff use their PCs, revealing desktop work (such as Excel and email) that never appears in system logs. It isn’t required, but we recommend it when you want to see work that system logs alone can’t show.

  • Yes, UiPath Process Mining can be used for analysis on its own. To get the most from sending results straight into the Automation Hub pipeline and on to implementation, though, we recommend using it with UiPath RPA.

  • It depends on the scale of the work, but a few months of event logs is a good guide for meaningful analysis. Even with little data, you can start with a PoC on one process and widen the scope as trends emerge.

  • Yes. As a certified UiPath partner, ITSO’s same team handles everything from analysis (Process Mining) to automation (RPA development), building and deploying candidates in the order set in Automation Hub.
